Guyon's Paradise Ballroom

Guyon's Paradise Ballroom brought a slice of Moorish-revival fantasy to the West Side, its terra-cotta dome sheltering up to 4,000 dancers a night at the height of the ballroom era. Opened in 1916, the building outlived its glory days by decades before fire finally took it in 1972.
