The Green Mill has been pouring drinks on Broadway since 1907, and Al Capone's henchman "Machine Gun" Jack McGurn once had a piece of the place — Capone himself favored the booth by the side door, close enough to the escape tunnels below. Still open, still one of the great jazz rooms in America.
